Peter Gill

Managing Director, Minneapolis

Peter Gill joined KPMG Corporate Finance in 2006.  Bringing over 20 years of investment banking experience, Peter is a Managing Director and the U.S. Group Head for the Financial Services team.

Peter’s experience in corporate finance includes mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, fairness opinions, valuations, financings and strategic assessments.  He has also served as an adviser for both privately-held and publicly-held companies on transaction strategies and execution.

Prior to joining KPMG Corporate Finance, Peter was a Managing Director at Piper Jaffray & Co. where he was head of mergers and acquisitions for the firm’s Financial Institutions Group. Prior to Piper Jaffray, Peter held positions at a mergers and acquisitions boutique and was employed as a commercial lender for First Bank System, now U.S. Bancorp.

Peter holds an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Minnesota and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
