Management Buyouts

When the owners of a business wish to divest all or part of their company, the management team is often provided the opportunity to buy.  Although this is an exciting prospect for a management team and the owner, most do not possess the experience to close the transaction without an adviser.

Our professionals have extensive experience representing management teams and business owners throughout the entire management buyout process.  We offer advice from the earliest phases of the transaction through closing.  We are actively involved in working with management teams to formulate offers, structure the transaction, raise the required debt and equity capital, and negotiate the non-financial terms.

Given our extensive experience representing both owners of privately held companies, as well as public companies on divisional divestitures and carve-outs, KPMG Corporate Finance is well positioned to understand and communicate to management teams the motivations of the owner and the transaction dynamics which will drive a successful management buyout.
