Peter Wilson

Managing Director, Baltimore

Peter Wilson joined KPMG Corporate Finance in 2000 and serves as Managing Director and the U.S. Head for the Technology and Services team. Peter has experience on a broad range of assignments including acquisitions, divestitures, financings, valuations, fairness opinions, and strategic assessments. He has provided services to clients ranging from U.S.-based start-ups to global Fortune 500 businesses in industries including technology, software, advertising, marketing services, transaction processing, security, and staffing.

Prior to joining KPMG Corporate Finance, Peter was a Senior Manager with Haverford Capital Advisors, a boutique investment banking firm, where he provided merger and acquisition, valuation, and capital raising services. Peter was previously with Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. where he had responsibilities in banking and corporate finance. Prior to Brown Brothers, Peter spent more than five years with First Union (now Wachovia Corporation) most recently as a Portfolio Manager and middle market commercial banker.

Peter holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and a B.A. in Government from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
