Joseph Schneider

Joseph Schneider has joined KPMG Corporate Finance LLC as a vice president in its Insurance Investment Banking team and he will be based in its Chicago office. In this role, Mr. Schneider will be responsible for advising both domestic and international clients on investment banking transactions in the insurance and other related industries.

Prior to joining KPMG Corporate Finance, Mr. Schneider was employed by Navigant Capital Advisors, LLC, the corporate finance unit of Navigant Consulting, Inc., where he provided transactional and strategic advice to clients throughout various parts of the insurance industry including the P&C, life and health, reinsurance, as well as specialty sectors.

Mr. Schneider also has valuation experience across many industries, with a focus on the financial services sector.  He has valued business enterprises and intangible assets, as well as various derivatives and financial instruments for purposes of financial reporting, tax planning, transfer pricing, M&A, and fairness opinions.

Additionally, Mr. Schneider was a senior consultant in Navigant Consulting, Inc.’s Insurance and Claims group, where he primarily worked on engagements with P&C insurance and reinsurance companies.

Mr. Schneider studied Finance and Spanish at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN, where he graduated with honors.  He has worked and studied in both Spain and Chile.
