Peter Gray, Managing Director with KPMG Corporate Finance's Energy and Natural Resources Team, Quoted in The Deal
April 6, 2009
Peter Gray, Managing Director with KPMG Corporate Finance's Energy and Natural Resources Team, was quoted Claire Poole's article entitled, "The Alternative Lifestyle," in The Deal.
Virtually every utility and power producer in the United States is involving themselves in the renewable energy business. The reasons for investing in renewable energy include creating tax shelters to help offset profits, boosting the renewable component of portfolios while masking the dirtier parts, such as coal plants, as well as increasing PR efforts in this age of energy conservation.
"We see tremendous potential M&A activity in the alternative energy space," says Gray.
