June 2006: KPMG Corporate Finance LLC Names Erik Jordan as Director in Its Special Situations Advisory Group

Erik Jordan has joined KPMG Corporate Finance LLC as a Director in its Costa Mesa, California office to further expand its Special Situations Advisory Group. Mr. Jordan and his colleagues will be responsible for providing, on a national basis, out-of-court and in-court mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and restructuring advisory services to under-performing companies, debtors, creditors, creditors’ committees, equity holders, and other constituents.
Prior to joining KPMG Corporate Finance LLC, Mr. Jordan was a Director at Trenwith Securities, LLC where he executed numerous M&A and corporate finance transactions for both distressed and healthy companies. Prior to joining Trenwith, he served as a senior consultant with KPMG LLP's Structured Finance Group, where he assisted numerous financial institutions and other companies with private and public securitizations of debt. Mr. Jordan has a total of nearly 15 years of investment banking and corporate advisory experience, having worked in a wide range of industry sectors, including apparel, business services, consumer products, gaming, general manufacturing, healthcare, industrial products, retail, restaurants, specialty chemicals, and technology.
In connection with Mr. Jordan’s advisory role representing distressed companies, he has authored and been quoted in numerous publications, including The Daily Deal, Corporate Financing Week, The Secured Debt Report, and Institutional Investor.
Mr. Jordan holds an MBA degree from the Anderson School at UCLA and a BA degree from Duke University.
