Jason Cross, Vice President, KPMG Corporate Finance's Private Equity Team, quoted in Corporate Financing Week

In the February 2, 2007 edition of  Corporate Financing Week, KPMG Corporate Finance had an opportunity to contribute to Michelle Starr's article, Aussie Online Ad Company Makes Moves Into U.S.  KPMG Corporate Finance acted as financial adviser to OBMedia, LLC on its sale to Photon Group, an Australian based company. 

Jason Cross, Vice President, Private Equity Coverage Team was quoted with respect to how the deal between OBMedia and Photon Group transpired.

"Jason Cross knew of Photon through his work with online advertising companies. When he and Cherie Smith Homa, KPMG Corporate Finance's managing director, went looking for buyers for their client, Online Business Media, they suspected the Australian company would be interested.  After a controlled auction, their instincts proved right, he said.  Cross anticipates more acquisitions in this space and that he’ll do more business with Photon.
