Andy Garbutt, currently a Director with KPMG UK's Corporate Finance Global Infrastructure and Projects Group (GIPG), will be joining KPMG Corporate Finance LLC in the United States on a long-term assignment as a Managing Director and the Strategic Business Unit Group Head for the U.S. GIPG team. Andy will be located out of the Austin office and will be responsible for leading and managing the team’s strategic direction, marketing and business development efforts and engagement activities.
Andy has been with KPMG Corporate Finance's GIPG for 6 years and prior to joining the firm was with the Royal Bank of Scotland’s PFI/PPP project finance team that was one of the principal early funders/investors in the UK’s PFI projects from the mid 1990’s His experience includes financing and advising on PFI/PPP transactions for both public sector bodies and private sector consortia, across a number of sectors, namely Transportation, Defense, Education, Health, and Nuclear decommissioning.
