Vice President - New York

KPMG Corporate Finance LLC, a leading middle market investment bank, is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a Vice President level position in its real estate investment banking practice. We anticipate that the individual will work from our Melville, NY or New York, NY office but would consider the individual working from one of our other 8 offices nationally.

Qualifications will include:

  • 5+ years of real estate investment banking experience, including M&A and raising real estate debt and equity capital.
  • Proven real estate transactional and capital raising expertise.
  • Credibility in marketplace and capability to lead a team [they have to use current resources – there is no other hiring associated with this position]
  • Superior financial modeling skills.
  • Strong research and financial analysis skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with clients.
  • Proficiency with financial research tools.
  • Excellent prioritization, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.

  • Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field desirable.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing the likelihood of success with a prospective debt or equity capital raise opportunity.
  • Having senior level relationships with sources of real estate debt and equity capital.
  • Being an integral part of our execution teams from pitch through closing, and managing day-to-day transaction activities.
  • Writing and preparing transaction related documents and marketing materials (e.g., pitch books, corporate profiles, information memoranda, market data/analyses, etc.).
  • Conducting in-depth company and industry research supporting specific client and marketing opportunities, including the identification and evaluation of buy and sell targets.
  • Financial modeling, including valuations.
  • Evaluating new client opportunities.
  • Preparing and delivering presentations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
